The battle to decide the best club in the world!! This year, Reds and Honda challenge!!

The 10 day Club World Cup will finally kick off on December 6. This year, Urawa Reds, who have qualified for the Champions League for the first time in 10 years, Honda Keisuke's Pachuca, and Real, who won the Champions League 2 years in a row, are participating. Enjoy the hot battle to blow away the cold at the end of the year!!

Club World Cup

The 1st competition was held in 2000. Subsequently, it was interrupted, but in 2005 the association absorbed the Toyota Cup, which had been a feature of winter in Japan. From 2005 to 8, the event was held in Japan, but the host country was rotated every 2 years in consideration of the burden of moving the participating teams. Basically, it is held in Japan and countries in the Middle East.
In 2021, the current format was changed from 7 slots to 24 slots, and the event may be held once every 4 years.
