ガーナの首都アクラの中心地、オス（OSU）地区。現地に住む日本人曰く、「ガーナの渋谷」という程、栄えたエリアだ。目抜き通りのオックスフォード通りから南に入ったTroas street沿いにこのライアンズアイリッシュパブがある。
平日の夜7時過ぎに店に入ったが、既にほとんどの席が埋まっていた。客の8割は白人で、店内はセレブ感が漂う作りになっている。
店のスタッフ曰く、普段はアイルランド人に人気のラグビーやサッカーの試合を上映しているようだが、この日は平日木曜だったため、ゴルフの中継が流れていた。
