African Restaurant & Bar Esogie

A homey African bar owned by a Nigerian owner who is fluent in Japanese!

"Esogie" is an African bar in Shinjuku 3-chome that is only known by those who know it. A friendly Nigerian who speaks Japanese, Lucky is the owner, bartender and chef! The interior is designed in the image of a bar in Nigeria, and it is a very cozy and relaxing space.

There are 2 monitors in the store, so you can enjoy watching sports! You can enjoy watching sports while having a conversation with the owner and staff.

In our shop, we serve Nigerian dishes which you can hardly eat in other restaurants! From easy to eat dishes such as fried plantin "Ido" and grilled lamb covered with special spices "Suya", to typical Nigerian dishes such as "Chicken Eggshish Sichuu and Emma (a Nigerian staple food made of yam like rice cakes)" and Jolo fraise!

This is a restaurant where you can experience something that you can't do in other restaurants, so please visit once.
